And we moved my daughter (now 6 years old and in school) to this daycare after encountering issues at another daycare in the area. I believe choosing a daycare is one of the toughest decisions a parent can make. That's why I'm glad we found Step by Step. Ms. Bush and her staff are caring, attentive, and reliable. My son is well-adjusted and always has a smile on his face when he leaves for the day (after giving the staff and all the other kids a hug, of course). What's so important to me is that Ms. Bush is transparent in her communication. She answer questions to give you a clear picture of what your child is doing during the day and how they are faring. She doesn't undermine your unique concerns about your child. Ms. Bush keeps a clean, tidy home with well-maintained furniture and toys for the children. My son enjoys healthy snacks and meals, and it was Ms. Bush and her staff who got my daughter to eat vegetables before I did! This daycare offers an in-home environment for the children while also doing creative and learning activities. My son comes home everyday showing off whatever project he did that day. I recommend Step by Step without hesitation for the genuine care they show to the kids and their families every day. As a mother I was worried about day care in general until I met with MS. Bush the owner. I felt from our first meeting my child will be safe in this daycare. I like how she is aware of every child and what they are doing at all times in addition to, cooking fresh food daily for the children. The place is child friendly and there are numerous toys to play with. Our little girl loves attending daycare at Faten’s! She especially adores Faten’s assistant Johana. My husband and I appreciate the diverse age group a small daycare like Faten’s provides, so our daughter knows how to interact with kids who are older and younger than her. You just don’t get that in big daycare centers. On drop off, our daughter is excited to be there, and at pick up she’s always in a good mood.
